cool bass interaction going on here. the snare sound is crisp, well-processed. i think you do have quite more bit depth to use up though, remember to normalize!

Mel responds:

thank you a bunch

really nice job with all the automation and sound design. so many synths fitting in here. so many timbral ideas back to back managing a cohesive track. i think the sound design could be further enhanced in the mix (harder EQ, compression, sidechaining, saturation, panning). that was a journey of a constant motive that, yet, kept it moving.

evandbrown responds:

Thank you!

metal and video game music artist! this sounds great. really does remind of the Mother series.

Mackievellian responds:

Dude, thanks for checking out my other stuff too, that's sound as. Thanks my man.

lots of power. at 1:32, i like that synth thing pumping with the guitar. i find that, if the synth wants to sound lively, i could use more compression/volume/presence/whatever. or alternatively, some instruments/reverbs/fx muting or lowering in volume during a few of the rests between the synth stabs can accentuate the attacks. sounds really great, good luck.

Mackievellian responds:

Thank you for your comment, man, I'll likely be experimenting more with this kind of sound. Have a good one.

far better than what most "approved artists" are pushing on newgrounds. good job dude.

Fumijena responds:

thank you <3

what can you do? most everything. having the "basic" verison fl provides most everything you need. if you can't pay for it, there's a free version that works just as good if not better.

AlexTheAmazer responds:

Thank you. But I want to make EDM. Currently I have to make songs that are not EDM in order to feel like my liking to myself.

this is pretty sick dude. i like the composition choices you've made both musically and electronically. and honestly, you could be even more aggressive with panning and effects that catch me off guard. you've got good songs, i think some more effort dedicated to taming that mix could bring them to professional level. nothing wrong with electro-drums but they are a little dead sounding, especially against your lively guitar (this is hard to overcome); if you intend to take this to the next level with them.

Banana-head responds:

Thanks for the review! Im still learning how to mix stuff, im aiming to get better at it on the future! About the drums, i rly need a better drum vst, im aware that, i was thinking of getting a paid drum vst soon.

cool work

Banana-head responds:

thanks!

A place where I upload songs I have produced/mixed/whoever
